Learn how to roll the pastry, line a tin and bake the pastry blind and fill for a finished tart. A method you can use again and again with so many variations. You’ll make pastry using organic ingredients
You will leave with a sweet and savoury tart and a puff pastry block. As a group we will make apple strudel to enjoy together.
Depending on the season will depend on what tart fillings we do. The savoury tart will be Roasted Vegetable and Feta. The Sweet will be a glazed Fresh Fruit Tart filled with Creme Patisserie, or a Chocolate Prune Tart.
Sage and Season will host you for the day providing refreshments and snacks along with a vegetarian lunch. The class will be kept to a maximum of 6 guests to ensure that you have any support and assistance required throughout the day.
Arrive at 9.30am to join us for coffee and something sweet, teaching will commence shortly after concluding at 4pm. Cost for the day £160.
